Official Rules: Relay Beach Getaway Giveaway

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.

1. Eligibility: The Relay Beach Getaway, giveaway (the “Giveaway”) is open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States, the District of Columbia, or Puerto Rico, excluding Rhode Island, who are at least twenty-one (21) years old at the time of entry. Employees, officers, and directors of Relay (“Sponsor”), affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, and their immediate family members (spouses, parents, siblings, and children) and household members are not eligible to participate. The Giveaway is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited by law.
2. Sponsor: The Sponsor of this Giveaway is Relay, 2230 Bandmate Way, Suite 500, Raleigh NC 27607.
3. Agreement to Official Rules: By participating in the Giveaway, each entrant fully and unconditionally agrees to and accepts these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Giveaway.
4. Giveaway Period: The Giveaway begins on Monday, June 16th, 2025 at 12:00AM ET and ends on Thursday, June 19th, 2025 at 11:59PM ET (“Giveaway Period”). Entries submitted before or after the Giveaway Period will not be eligible.
5. How to Enter: During the Giveaway Period, entrants may enter by:

• Booth Entry: Visiting Booth #2605 at the Indiana Convention Center during HITEC and filling out a registration form or dropping in the entrant’s business card at the on-site booth. 
• Representative Entry: Approaching any Relay representative wearing and requesting a free demonstration of TeamTranslate. 
• Email Entry: Emailing bnelson@relaypro.com with entrant’s name, email address, phone number and company. Email’s subject must be “Relay Beach Getaway Giveaway Entry”. 

Limit: [State entry limits – e.g., one (1) entry per person, per email address, per household, per social media account, per day, etc.] throughout the Giveaway Period. Multiple entries from the same person/email address/account beyond the stated limit will be disqualified. Use of any automated system to participate is prohibited and will result in disqualification.

6. Prizes: One (1) Grand Prize Winner will receive:

• One (1) Digital Marriott Gift Card with a value of Three Thousand Dollars ($3,000.00 USD).
• One (1) Digital Delta Airlines Gift Card with a value of One Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($1,500.00 USD).

Total Approximate Retail Value (ARV) of the Grand Prize: Four Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($4,500.00 USD).

Prizes are non-transferable and no substitution will be made except as provided herein at the Sponsor’s sole discretion. The Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the advertised prize becomes unavailable. Winners are responsible for all taxes and fees associated with prize receipt and/or use, as well as any other expenses, costs, or charges of any kind not explicitly included in the prize description. IRS Form 1099-MISC may be issued. Gift cards are subject to the terms and conditions of the issuer.

Prizes are generally non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash. Winner(s) and guest(s) must travel together on the same itinerary and are responsible for any expenses not specifically listed (e.g., airfare, ground transportation, meals, gratuities, incidentals). 

7. Winner Selection and Notification: One (1) potential Grand Prize Winner will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries received during the Giveaway Period. The drawing will be conducted on or about Friday, June 24th, 2025 by Sponsor or an independent judging organization whose decisions are final and binding.

The potential winner will be notified by email and/or phone within seven (7) business days following the drawing. The potential winner will be required to respond to the notification within seven (7) business days and may be required to execute and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability Release, and (where legal) a Publicity Release (“Affidavit/Release”) within seven (7) days of the date of notification. Failure to respond to the notification or return the Affidavit/Release within the specified time frame, or if the notification is returned as undeliverable, may result in disqualification and an alternate winner being selected.

8. Odds of Winning: The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
9. Release and Limitations of Liability: By participating in the Giveaway, entrants agree to release, hold harmless, and indemnify the Sponsor, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents (the “Released Parties”) from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in the Giveaway or receipt or use of any prize, including, but not limited to: (a) unauthorized human intervention in the Giveaway; (b) technical errors related to computers, servers, providers, or telephone or network lines; (c) printing errors; (d) errors in the administration of the Giveaway or the processing of entries; (e) late, lost, undeliverable, damaged, or stolen mail; or (f) death, injury, or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrant’s participation in the Giveaway or receipt or use of any prize. Entrant further agrees that in any cause of action, the Released Parties’ liability will be limited to the cost of entering and participating in the Giveaway, and in no event shall the Released Parties be liable for attorney’s fees. Entrant waives the right to claim any damages whatsoever, including, but not limited to, punitive, consequential, direct, or indirect damages.
10. Publicity: Except where prohibited, participation in the Giveaway constitutes winner’s consent to Sponsor’s and its agents’ use of winner’s name, likeness, photograph, voice, opinions, and/or hometown and state for promotional purposes in any media, worldwide, without further payment or consideration.
11. General Conditions: Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, and/or modify the Giveaway, or any part of it, if any acts of God, fraud, technical failures, human error, fire, flood, unusually severe weather, hurricane, embargo, labor dispute or strike (whether legal or illegal), labor or material shortage, or any other factor beyond Sponsor’s reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Giveaway, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Giveaway or to be acting in violation of these Official Rules or any other promotion or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. If the Giveaway is not capable of running as planned for any reason, Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, modify or suspend the Giveaway and award the prize from eligible entries received prior to cancellation, modification, or suspension or as otherwise deemed fair and appropriate by Sponsor. Any attempt by any person to deliberately undermine the legitimate operation of the Giveaway may be a violation of criminal and civil law, and, should such an attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. Sponsor’s failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.
12. Disputes: Entrant agrees that: (a) any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Giveaway, or any prizes awarded, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action; (b) any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Giveaway, or any prizes awarded, shall be submitted to final, binding arbitration conducted in Wake County, North Carolina according to the commercial rules and practices of the AAA. Arbitration hereunder will occur before a single neutral arbitrator having significant experience in the subject matter of these rules and who will be selected in accordance with applicable AAA rules and have no authority to award punitive damages. Either party may enforce a final arbitration award in any court of competent jurisdiction in Wake County, North Carolina, including an award of costs, fees and expenses incurred in enforcing the award. Notwithstanding the foregoing, Released Parties, shall be entitled to seek injunctive relief (unless otherwise precluded by any other provision of these Official Rules) in courts of the state of North Carolina. Any dispute or portion thereof, or any claim for a particular form of relief (not otherwise precluded by any other provision of these Official Rules), that may not be arbitrated pursuant to applicable state or federal law may be heard only in a court of competent jurisdiction in Wake County, North Carolina; ; and (c) under no circumstances will entrants be permitted to obtain awards for, and entrants hereby waives all rights to claim punitive, incidental and consequential damages and any other damages, other than for actual out- of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
13. Winner List: To obtain a list of the Grand Prize Winner(s) (available on or after Friday, June 24, 2025), send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to: Relay, 2230 Bandmate Way Suite 500 Raleigh NC 27607, Attn: Relay Beach Getaway Giveaway Winner List Request. Requests must be received by [Monday, August 18th, 2025 – e.g., 60 days after end of giveaway].
14. Data Protection and Privacy: Information collected from entrants is subject to the Sponsor’s Privacy Policy, available at https://relaypro.com/legal/relay-privacy-policy/. By participating in the Giveaway, entrants hereby agree to Sponsor’s collection and usage of their personal information and acknowledge that they have read and accepted Sponsor’s Privacy Policy. By entering, entrants consent to receive communications from Sponsor for the purpose of administering this Giveaway. Entrants may opt in to receive marketing emails, but doing so will not affect their entry into the Giveaway.
