Relay has successfully completed its SOC 2 Type 1 audit, an industry standard for customer data protection, through AssuranceLab. This achievement highlights our dedication to ensuring the highest level of compliance, reliability, and protection of customer information.
What is SOC 2 Type 1?
SOC 2 Type 1 is a well-known auditing framework used to evaluate technology and cloud-based businesses’ protection of customer data and privacy. The framework, developed by the AICPA (American Institute of Certified Public Accountants), focuses on five trust service principles: security, availability, process integrity, confidentiality, and privacy.
Soc 2 Type 1 provides a snapshot of how well an organization is managing and protecting customer data, done by an independent auditor. It was developed to improve existing security measures, promote operational transparency, drive data compliance, and scale operations securely for customers.
